Employees come FIRST

We firmly believe that employees are our number one resource, and the primary contributing factor to our success and internal relationships always proceed with a ‘people first’ mentality. This is seen clearly by not only the number of long-term employees that have been with us since nearly the start, but also by the new people we seek out and provide extraordinary opportunities.

Some of Our Team Members

  • Company old-timer, lives and breathes the orange and blue
I started at Doorways in 1993 which makes that…(carry to two)…25 years ago. This has really become my home away from home which can be credited to the wonderful leadership team. I have personally loved seeing the company grow into what it is today. Each new team member has brought their own unique touch to the company which keeps things exciting around here!  I bring the same passion to my job that I do for my Denver Broncos, camping and drag racing. Sandy Nuanes, Purchasing Manager, 25 years industry experience, all at Doorways
  • Father, Husband, Chef, Craft Beer Lover
In my past life I was a chef, for 18 years of that past life to be exact. I needed something more stable and always wanted to move my family to Colorado. I started with Doorways as a driver because I thought “What’s a better job to have in Colorado than driving around this beautiful state?” 5 years in I have realized how lucky I am to have landed here.  You really cannot find leadership that cares more about their employees than they do here. I can safely say that I have never had a bad day here due to a boss. It has been an amazing experience. John Dobrzynski, Sales Support, 8 years industry experience, 5 years at Doorways
  • Vegan with a Beard (Big Surprise!)
So sue me, I care about what I eat and I grew a beard that would make a lumberjack jealous! I have been with Doorways for almost 3 years now and honestly, this has been the best company I have ever worked for. Hard work does not go unnoticed, I am where I want to be with opportunity to advance in the future. Around here you see sons and daughters working at the same company as their parents and I think that serves as a testament to the character of Doorways. Arthur Espinoza, PM Apprentice, 3 years industry experience, all at Doorways
  • The Old Timer That’s Climbed More Mountains Than You
Colorado Doorways was a young company when I started 28 years ago. We had 17 employees with a vision to be an industry giant, and look at us now. I really attribute this success to the leadership and their genuine care for employees and work conditions. They gave me the opportunity for adventure and challenge which was extremely attractive to me. And yes, since moving to Colorado from the Northeast I have climbed 24 of Colorado’s 14ers…can you beat that? Jonathan Cawley, AHC, Sales Manager, 39 years industry experience, 27 years at Doorways
  • Closet Sci-Fi Nerd & Dog Lover
I started my career at CDI a little over 17 years ago. The team is amazing, better than what I could ever expect out of an employer and they have really allowed me to take care of my family when the time called for it…and my dogs are definitely considered family! Speaking of family, I am the proud Granddaughter of a WWII soldier which the HBO show “Band of Brothers” was based on. I’ll tell you all about it over some shrimp tacos one day! Remember…the truth is out there. Maye Klamm, Accounting Manager, 22 years accounting experience, 17 years at Doorways
  • Family Man, Mountain Man, and Traveler at Heart
When I first started at CDI nearly 20 years ago the company represented “opportunity” to grow my career with a company that takes a personal interest in developing me into the industry professional I am today. At home, you can find me in the mountains with my family and daydreaming about one day visiting Australia. Also, I may drop a quote from the movie “Out Cold” that you may or may not catch…just laugh when I laugh. Raymond Holman, AHC, 34 years industry experience, 19 years at Doorways

Career Opportunities

Our hiring policy is simple:  WE FOLLOW THE LAW!

Colorado Doorways hires lawful workers only – U.S. citizens or nationals and non-citizens with valid work authorization – without discrimination.

Federal immigration law requires all employers to verify both the identity and employment eligibility of all persons hired to work in the United States.

In its efforts to meet the law’s requirements, Colorado Doorways is participating in the Basic Pilot program established by the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration (SSA) to aid employers in verifying the employment eligibility of all newly-hired employees. Our participation in the pilot program does not exempt us from the obligation to complete a Form I-9 for everyone we hire.
